From my last post about marketing, small and home based businesses are even tighter with budgeting the marketing funds. Due to the economy, it’s harder than ever without the internet to let everyone know about your products/services that you provide about the company that you are doing.

Everybody knows about www.craigslist.org which is free to advertise it at as well as www.backpage.com . I thought everyone knew about backpage but boy. Was I so wrong. I myself get a lot of replies coming from craigslist more than the other places online whenever I post my ads.

If it weren’t for the internet, I believe that all businesses would of failed since offline marketing can add up in the end. It’s nice to pass them out to potential prospects but prospects are just prospects. For my next post, I will talk about why having your own domain name matters.
